The site where my static caravan is stored suffered a flood - can you provide cover?
We are unable to provide a policy if the site has flooded within the last 3 years.
My static caravan is based in Europe, can you still cover me?
No, our policies will not be able to provide you with cover.

My caravan was previously declared a total loss (a write off), can I purchase your policy?
No, we will not be able to provide any cover.
Where and how must my caravan be stored?
Your static caravan will need to be permanently sited on a licensed caravan park in the UK and must be storm anchored at all 4 corners.
Who can purchase the Static Caravan policy?
You will need to be a permanent resident of the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man
What is the maximum age limit of Static Caravan you can cover?
We can cover static caravans up to aged 20 – your caravan must have been manufactured in the UK and built to British Standard BS EN1647.
How can I make a claim?
- Report to the police any loss or theft of your property, or malicious damage immediately
- Have your current policy and Schedule of insurance to hand wherever possible

What does my policy cover me for?
Your policy will cover you for accidental damage and theft. There is an option for you to include the contents of your static caravan.
Contents cover includes household goods including blinds and floor coverings not permanently affixed and personal property which belong to you and your family and are contained in the caravan or in the open within the boundaries of the land belonging to the caravan.
Can you offer cover for permanent residents or business use?
No, the use of the Static Caravan must be for leisure purposes only and not in connection with any business, profession or for hire and reward.
We are unable to offer a policy to anyone permanently living in a Static Caravan.
Can my friends and family use the caravan?
Yes, your relatives or your acquaintances can use your caravan with your permission.
Am I still insured if I let/rent the caravan out?
The policy excludes Loss or Damage if the caravan is let/rented for financial reward.
How can I pay?
You can pay your premium as a one-off payment or in monthly instalments if the premium is over £120.00.
Where am I covered?
The cover provided is for Static Caravans, Leisure Homes, Chalets and Holiday Lodges in England, Scotland and Wales.
What is the excess on a Static Caravan Policy?
The policy excess is £100.00 for each and every claim made against the policy.
If you are making a claim for Subsidence, Heave or Landslip, the policy excess is £500.00.
What is ‘Market Value’ cover?
The second-hand value of an item at the time a claim is made taking account of specification, age, depreciation and condition immediately prior to the damage.
Perhaps an easier way to think of this term is 'what I would get if I sold my caravan now?'.
Please note that we can only provide this cover for static caravans up to 20 years old.
What is 'New for Old' cover?
‘New for old’ cover means we will replace your insured caravan with the latest model of the closest specification.
The caravan’s value that you insure should be the amount it would cost to replace with a new model of the closest specification.
We can offer ‘new for old’ cover for static caravans of up to 10 years old.
What level of Public Liability is included on the policy?
The public liability level included is £5,000,000.
What is the maximum value I can insure?
You can select your caravan sum insured for an amount up to £100,000.
What is Static Caravan Insurance?
